A bounty is never posted for "all parcels in a state or region." Every row below applies only to parcels inside a specific, pre-defined qualifying zone — the narrow area that already cleared the grid-distance, redundancy, and population overlay.

Bounty pools are tranche-based rather than fixed in advance. Each bounty opens with a starting pool sized for roughly 20–30 submissions; as real submissions come in and are validated, the pool is topped up in further tranches based on actual pace and quality, rather than committing to a forecasted total upfront.

Required on every submission, in addition to the fields listed per row

Every individual parcel and every individual data point is its own separate submission — a 100-parcel list is 100 submissions, not one. Each one gets its own record, its own UPN where applicable, and its own independent validation.

Point value is not automatically full-rate for every submission in a batch. If a validator determines, using their own judgment, that a set of submissions was clearly gathered as part of a single bulk collection effort from one source rather than found and verified individually, the validator may reduce the point value for the submissions after the first one in that set. This is a judgment call made case by case, not a fixed formula — a validator weighing whether 100 parcels pulled from the same registry page in one sitting represents 100 separate discoveries or one discovery applied 100 times can reduce the payout for entries 2 through 100 accordingly. The first submission in any such set is not affected.

Before a submission is accepted, it must include the following, regardless of which bounty it's answering:

• City

• State / Province (or the equivalent local administrative division)

• Country

• Data source — a clear, specific description of exactly where this information came from (the name of the registry, agency, or office, not just "government website")

• Link, if the source is online

• Date the source was last updated, if the source displays one

• How the data was acquired — deskwork (found online) or fieldwork (paper record, on-site signage, or interview), and which specific method within that category

This is what turns a bare fact into something the platform can actually verify and trust over time — a parcel number without a dated, named source is not meaningfully different from a guess, even if the number itself happens to be correct.

Why these regions

Upstate New York (US). Legacy power infrastructure from the region's former aluminum-smelting industry sits on a grid (NYISO) with real, still-usable transmission capacity that current demand hasn't caught up to.

Nuevo León / Coahuila (Mexico). A fast-growing manufacturing and nearshoring corridor with real industrial-grade grid infrastructure already in place.

Minas Gerais (Brazil). Shares a grid system (ONS) with Brazil's largest existing data-center cluster, with substantial hydroelectric and mining-industry power infrastructure already built.

Visakhapatnam (India). A significant industrial port city with improving grid access, outside the handful of Indian metro areas already well covered by existing research.

Interior Poland. Sits inside one of the most transparent grid-reporting systems in the world (the EU's Capacitypedia platform), in a market still earlier in its growth curve than Western Europe.

Johor / Iskandar corridor (Malaysia). Currently one of the most active data-center growth markets globally, driven by direct spillover from Singapore's development constraints.

Hanoi / Bac Ninh (Vietnam). Real, sustained growth in manufacturing and digital infrastructure, part of the broader shift of supply chains into Southeast Asia.

NEOM (Saudi Arabia). Announced and funded at a scale large enough that the underlying demand case is not in question, even at an early stage of formal development.

Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean (Canada). Like upstate New York, this region carries real legacy power infrastructure from a historical heavy-industrial base, on a hydro-rich grid.

Lusatia (Germany). A former coal-power region undergoing a well-documented economic transition, with existing grid infrastructure that predates any current data-center interest.

Kigali (Rwanda). Reflects a genuine, government-backed ambition to build a regional digital infrastructure hub for East Africa.

Córdoba (Argentina). A major, growing industrial and technology center outside the country's capital.

Colón Free Trade Zone (Panama). An established logistics and trade hub with existing infrastructure and a well-documented need for clearer, more current ownership records.

Aragón (Spain). Strong renewable power generation capacity is drawing early data-center interest into a market that's still less developed than Western Europe's established hubs.
